The Misericordia men's basketball team fell to DeSales, 72-55, Saturday in Center Valley.
 
Nick Prociak led the Cougars with nine points and five rebounds.
 
Nate Kreitzer had seven points and three assists and Rodrigo Vani and Joseph Baldachino added six points each.
 
The Cougars trailed by just a point early in the first half when Jake Bartholomew hit a three to make the score 10-9.
 
Five minutes later, Kreitzer hit a jumper to give MU their first lead of the game, 17-15, and Prociak made a layup on the next possession to take a four-point lead with 8:07 left in the first half.
 
The Bulldogs closed the half on an 18-2 run to take a 33-21 lead at the break.
 
MU will host King's on Wednesday at 6:00.
