The Misericordia men's basketball team defeated King's, 89-73, Wednesday night to complete the season sweep of their local rivals.

The Cougars produced their highest point total of the season as 13 different players scored at least two points.

Diby Keita led the Cougars with a career-high 20 points and added three rebounds and three assists.

Nate Kreitzer added 17 points, six rebounds and six assists and
Joseph Baldachino had 13 points and
Patrick Douthit added 12.

The Cougars opened the game on a 22-9 run thanks to four three-pointers from Kreitzer and Douthit.

Keita extended the lead to 27-12 with a layup with 9:34 remaining in the first half.

Baldachino scored the Cougars' last five points of the first half to lead 44-23 at the break.

MU shot 58.8% in the first half from beyond-the-arc.

Noah Rivera got things going in the second half with a layup after off assist from Keita.

MU never led by less than 11 points in the second half and forced 31 turnovers.

The Cougars regular season will come to end when they travel to Eastern, Saturday.
