The Misericordia baseball team fell to #13 North Central, 16-7, Thursday afternoon in Port Charlotte, FL.
 
Tyler Holzapfel led the Cougars, going 3-5 with two RBI, and Austin Miles added a 3-5 day with an RBI and one run scored.
 
Sean Boylan added two hits and two runs scored while Dalton Emerich had two hits and an RBI.
 
MU found themselves down early, but tied the game in the third inning, 3-3.
 
Miles singled down the right field line and Sean Lyons singled to shallow left. Boylan singled bringing their first run of the day around.
 
Holzapfel crushed a ball to right center bringing Lyons and Boylan around to even things up.
 
The Cougars took the lead in the bottom of the fourth courtesy of a single by Emerich and Miles.
 
Misericordia couldn't hold the lead as the Cardinals exploded for eight runs in the top of the seventh to take a 16-6 lead.
 
MU will face Heidelberg, Friday at 11 a.m. to finish off their Spring Trip.
