The Misericordia University men's soccer team will host Stevens in the MAC Freedom championship game, Saturday at 4:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
The Cougars are 12-4 after a 1-0 win over King's in the semifinals.

Drew Weaver scored the only goal of the game with an assist from Luke Ferrarese while Andrew Daubenspeck posted his ninth shutout of the year.

Stevens advanced to the title match with wins over Wilkes and Arcadia.

Misericordia defeated Stevens during the regular season, 1-0, in overtime.  This is the first postseason meeting between the teams.

MU is making its first appearance in the MAC Freedom championship match since 2016.

The Cougars feature one of the league's toughest defenses and have allowed a league-low 14 goals and are second with a 0.93 GAA.

Daubenspeck leads the league with nine shutouts and a 79.1 save percentage and is second with a 0.93 GAA.

Anthony Yarbinee leads the Cougars with three goals while Alexei King has two goals and two assists.  Jimmy Towers, Francisco Echeverria, Max Gariano and Logan Moore have all scored twice.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens.  Students and children are $2.
