Kyle Vandenberg scored six goals and David Giordano and Pat Luzzi scored five goals each to lead the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to a 30-9 win over Delaware Valley, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

Robert Wagner added three goals and six assists and Michael Kilgallon had three goals and four assists.

Nick Torzilli had three goals and three assists and Allen Thomas added three goals as the Cougars improved to 6-2.

Garrett Heidecker was 20-29 on face-offs and had team-high 13 ground balls and Vandenberg added seven ground balls.

Giordano, Nick Caprio, Don Conway and T.J. Zenobio all had two caused turnovers.

Wagner found Luzzi on the left post to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead less than two minutes into the game.

Luzzi made it 2-0 with a shot from the left wing with 11:15 to go in the first quarter.

The teams traded goals and the Cougars led 3-2 before scoring seven straight goals to take a 10-2 lead.
