The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team fell at FDU-Florham, 19-7, Saturday afternoon.
 
Lauren Weitzel had three goals and six draw controls for the Cougars.
 
Michelle Torzilli had two goals and Molly Celesky and Emily Connell added one goal each.
 
Weitzel, Celesky, Connell, Brianna Fox, Alyssa Delgadillo and Genevieve Montanye all had two ground balls.
 
FDU-Florham scored in the opening minute and Celesky tied it at 27:26.
 
The Devils scored four straight goals before Weitzel scored unassisted with 12:15 remaining in the first half.
 
FDU-Florham answered with four more tallies before Weitzel scored again with 4:52 to go in the first.
 
FDU added to more goals to take an 11-3 halftime lead.
 
The Cougars will host Wilkes, Tuesday at 7:00.
