The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Appreciation Day and ended the regular season with an 18-4 win over Arcadia, Sunday at Mangelsdorf Field.

Lauren Weitzel,
Emily Connell,
Tori Hodges,
Michaela Napoli and
Taylor Hannaberry were recognized prior to the game and combined for nine goals in the win.
The Cougars finished the regular season at 8-3 and earned the second seed in the MAC Freedom Championships. MU will host Arcadia in a first round game, Tuesday at 7:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.
Hannaberry led the Cougars with three goals and three assists and
Justine Johnson had a goal and four assists.
Michelle Torzilli had three goals and an assist and
Emily Connell scored four goals.
Genevieve Montanye had a goal and two assists and Weitzel and
Alyssa Delgadillo scored two goals each.
Hodges made three saves in goal to earn the win.
Weitzel had five draw controls and three caused turnovers and Torzilli had five draw controls.
Weitzel, Connell and Hannaberry all scored in the opening minutes as the Cougars raced out to a 7-0 lead with 23:08 to play in the first half.
After Arcadia got on the board, the Cougars scored seven of the next eight goals to take a 14-2 lead into halftime.
