The Misericordia University women's basketball team picked up its third straight victory with a 65-55 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.
Alyssa Bondi led the Cougars with 23 points, including five three-pointers, and
Melina Santacroce added 17 points and 14 rebounds.Â
Nora Tracey added 11 points.
MU never trailed in the contest as Bondi and Santacroce scored the game's first five points.
The duo scored the final six points of the opening quarter as the Cougars built an 18-11 lead.
The Cougars led 33-27 at halftime and the Aggies got within four points in the third quarter, but Bondi and Santacroce combined to stretch MU's lead to 11 after three quarters.
The Aggies never got closer than eight points in the final stanza.
MU is 9-7 and will travel to SUNY Cobleskill, Monday.
