Lebanon Valley used two blocked kicks and an interception return to break open a close game on the way to a 47-12 win over Misericordia University, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
Down 6-0 in the first quarter, Misericordia's 38-yard field goal attempt was blocked and returned to the MU three-yard line.
The Dutchmen scored two plays later to take a 12-0 lead.
Following another Leb Val score, Mike Gawlik capped a 10-play drive with a three-yard run to get MU on the board with 5:33 left in the second quarter.
Trailing 19-6, the Cougars got the ball to open the third quarter, but allowed an interception return and a blocked punt return for scores and 33-6 deficit.

Anthony DePalma for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, but Lebanon Valley added two scores for the final margin.
Gawlik led the Cougars with 90 yards rushing on 16 carries and
Eric Jeffries had 45 yards on six carries.
DePalma had 64 yards on seven catches.
Eric Glass led the MU defense with 12 tackles.
The Cougars will travel to Wilkes, Saturday.
