The Misericordia men's basketball team captured a huge win over #3 Arcadia, 98-70, in the MAC Freedom quarterfinals. The Cougars shot 19-26 from the three-point line, including a school-record from
Elijah Rosenthal.
Rosenthal scored a game-high 30 points and broke the school three-point, which was held previously by MU head coach
Will Chandler.
Kevin Lazdowsky scored 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and was a perfect 3-3 from three while
Nick Hornung scored 23 points on 10-13 shooting from the floor and 3-4 from the arc.
Nate Kreitzer dished out a game-high seven assists and went 2-2 from the three-point line.
Rosenthal drilled a three-pointer for the first Cougar basket of the night.
After trailing by 11 early in the first, MU went on a 24-4. Rosenthal, Lazdowsky, and Hornung hit four consecutive three-pointers during the run.

Nate Kreitzer steal led to a
Joseph Baldachino three-ball to make the score 48-33.
Rosenthal ended the half with a three to give MU an 18-point lead at the half.
MU shot 84.6% from downtown in the first half.
In the second half, Rosenthal picked up where he left off, hitting back-to-back threes.
Rosenthal tied the school three-point record with 7:46 to go and broke the record four minutes later.
Rodrigo Vani threw down a dunk off a Hornung assist with just under five minutes remaining.
Misericordia shot 64.2% from the floor in the second half.
Misericordia travels to Stevens for the MAC Freedom semifinals, Friday night.
