The Misericordia University women's tennis team opened its spring schedule with a 9-0 win over Clarks Summit University, Tuesday.
 
Brianna Pizzano, Emily Brecker, Hailey Loughlin, Lydia Barbour and Lauren Visalli were all double-winners for MU.
 
Pizzano and Brecker won 8-0 at first and second singles, respectively, and added an 8-0 at first doubles.
 
Loughlin won 6-0, 6-1-1 at third singles and joined Visalli for an 8-0 win at second doubles.
 
Visalli was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at fifth singles.
 
Barbour won 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles and steamed with Samantha Atcavage to win 8-0 at third doubles.
 
Nicole Pangiochi added a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles.
