The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team jumped to a big lead and never looked back in a 15-4 win over King's, Tuesday at Mangelsdorf Field.
Alyssa Delgadillo and
Michelle Torzilli scored two goals each and
Genevieve Montanye had two goals and six assists.
Molly Celesky and
Savannah Winpigler both had two goals and an assist.
Rachel Shook had a goal, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and a team-high seven draw controls.
Lena Conway made five saves in goal to earn her first career win.
Torzilli scored three times to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead midway through the first quarter.
Montanye had two goals and two assists in the first quarter as the Cougars took a 7-0 lead.
Montanye assisted on two Celesky goals late in the second quarter to put MU up, 12-2.
Montanye added two more assists on goals by Delgadillo in the second half.
