Robert Wagner and
Kyle Vandenberg both reached scoring milestones in the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team's 20-7 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.
Wagner had three goals and four assists to reach the 100-career mark in both categories, becoming the first Misericordia player to accomplish the feat.
Vandenberg had four goals and two assists to go over the 100-point mark for his career.
Jared Pelliccione had four goals and an assist and
Ryan Vandenberg added three goals and two assists while
Connor Gundersen and Michael Kilgallon both had two goals and two assists.
Garrett Heidecker was 18-24 on face-offs and scooped up 12 ground balls.
Matt Coates made eight saves in goal and
Trey Stasse had six ground balls improved to 8-2 overall and 2-0 in the MAC Freedom.
Heidecker opened the scoring just five seconds into the game and Wagner sandwiched a pair of unassisted goals around two Pelliccione scores to give MU a 5-0 lead midway through the first quarter.
The Cougars eventually led 9-0 before Del Val scored a short-handed goal and a man-up goal.
MU had a pair of man-up goals as part of 7-0 run to take a 16-2 lead late in the third quarter.
Misericordia will host Stevens, Saturday.
