The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team suffered its first MAC Freedom loss of the season, 17-7, to Stevens, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
Kyle Vandenberg and Ryan Vandenberg had two goals each and Carson Venis and Michael Kilgallon both added a goal and an assist.
 
Michael Shuman had five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
 
Down 2-0 midway through the first quarter, Connor Gundersen whipped a shot inside the right post and Kyle Vandenberg came from behind the net to pull MU even, 2-2, with 3:20 left in the first period.
 
The Ducks scored five straight to take a 7-2 lead.
 
Both Vandenbergs scored late in the second quarter to make it 7-4, but Stevens answered with four straight goals.
