Carson Venis had six goals and three assists to lead the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to a 22-6 win at FDU-Florham, Saturday.
Robert Wagner added four goals and two assists and
Jared Pelliccione had four goals and an assist.
Ryan Vandenberg had two goals and an assist and
Brendan Stanley and
Connor Gundersen had a goal and an assist.
Trey Stasse added a goal, two ground balls and a caused turnover.
Garrett Heidecker had a team-high seven ground balls and
Spencer Sundeberg added five ground balls while Michael Kilgallon had a team-high four caused turnovers.
Wagner scored three goals in the first eight minutes and the Cougars led 5-1 after one period.
Venis and
Ryan Vandenberg scored twice in the second quarter as the Cougars took a 12-2 lead into halftime.
Venis scored three more times in the third period and Pelliccione added two scores as the Cougars stretched their lead to 18-3.
Matt Coates made three saves in the first half to earn the win as the Cougars improved to 11-3 overall and 5-1 in the MAC Freedom.
The Cougars will wrap up the regular season with home games against DeSales and Arcadia next week.
