The Misericordia University baseball team took a non-conference game versus Keystone, 12-7, Wednesday at Tambur Field.

Garrett McIlhenny went 2-2 with two walks, four runs scored and four stolen bases.
Max Oliver picked up the win after allowing just one run over six innings with four strikeouts.

Brock Bollinger finished 2-3 with a double, two runs and four RBI.

Owen VanNewkirk drove in two and
Austin Miles had a triple and two RBI.
Brady Madden collected two hits and an RBI, and
Brendan Gray and
Connor Maryniak both added an RBI.

After the Giants scored a run in the top of the first, the Cougars answered with a five-run bottom half of the frame. Madden tripled down the right-field line to score McIlhenny and MU loaded the bases before Miles' two-run single through the right side. VanNewkirk scored on a failed pickoff attempt and Gray added an RBI-double.

The Cougars kept the momentum up in the second inning, adding three more runs. McIlhenny scored on a Vosburg fielder's choice and VanNewkirk singled to right to plate Bollinger and Vosburg.

Bollinger delivered a two-run single in the sixth to extend the Cougar lead to 10-1.

In the eighth, Bollinger responded to a Giants rally with a two-run double to give the Cougars a five-run lead, and the Cougars never looked back.

Matthew Lanzendorfer picked up the save after coming on for three innings of relief and striking out three.

Misericordia will host Delaware Valley for its final home game of the regular season, Friday.
