The Misericordia University baseball team got back in the win column with a 21-7 triumph over Susquehanna, Tuesday afternoon at Tambur Field.

Connor Maryniak went 2-6 with six RBI and a homer and struck out two in an inning on the mound.
Joe Comins went 3-5 with three RBI and three runs scored.
Jack Regenye finished 2-3 with three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base and
Jason Sanfilippo went 1-2 with a solo home run.
Brady Madden got the action started with a two-run double in the first inning. Madden and
Derrick Vosburg scored after a passed ball and a wild pitch.

Owen VanNewkirk's sacrifice fly to right field scored
Brock Bollinger and  Comins drove in two with an RBI single to cap off a seven-run first inning.
The Cougars scored three more runs in the second inning with RBI from Regenye and Maryniak.
Comins led off the third inning with a walk and later scored on a wild pitch. Maryniak doubled down the right field line to score VanNewkirk and Vosburg to extend the Cougars' lead to 11-0.
Matthew Lanzendorfer came in on relief and struck out the first batter he faced and retired the side with a groundout. Lanzendorfer pitched a hitless fifth inning.
Max Oliver got the Cougars out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam to end the sixth inning.
Sanfilippo led off the bottom of the sixth with a solo shot to left and Comins added an RBI single later in the inning.
Jared Hoffman's RBI-single to right field scored Comins in the eighth inning. Maryniak teed off a three-run shot to center to end a six-run inning.
Maryniak finished off his monster day with an appearance on the mound and pitched 1-2-3 ninth inning.
MU will head back to conference play and host FDU-Florham, Friday at 3:30.
