Misericordia University baseball standout Connor Maryniak has been named to the D3baseball.com all-region team.

A first year shortstop, Maryniak earned third-team status in Region 4.

He was a second-team All-MAC Freedom selection and was the MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year.

Maryniak was fourth on the team in batting (.340) and led the team with six homers. 

He led the team in slugging (.649) and was third with 63 total bases.

He was third in the league in slugging and fourth in homers.

In addition, he struck out 28 batters in 24.2 innings and earned three saves in 11 appearances.

Misericordia finished 28-17 and was the MAC Freedom runner-up.
