Box Score The Misericordia University men's volleyball team pulled out a 3-2 win at Drew, Tuesday night.

The Cougars took the first two sets before the Rangers rallied for two close wins.  MU took the finale, 15-8.

Anthony DePalma led the Cougars with 18 kills and Joe Kozak had 12 kills on just 20 attempts.

Gannon DeFrain had 24 assists while Kyle Ganoe added 22 and Alex Furlong had a team-high 14 digs.

Down 6-5 in the fifth set, the Cougars went on a 9-1 run to take a 14-7 lead.

Following a Drew attack error, Kozak had back-to-back aces to put MU in front and Clendening had three kills to fuel the run.

After another Drew error, Clendening closed it out with his sixth kill of the set.

Tied 13-13 in the first set, MU doubled up on the Rangers the rest of the way to win 25-19.

DePalma had three kills and Kozak and Logan Romeika both added aces down the stretch.

The Cougars pulled away down the stretch to win the second set, 25-18.  Tied 14-14, Matt Albrecht had two kills to help MU take a 19-15 lead.

James Walsh and Clendening added kills to extend the lead and a Rangers attack error closed the set.

Drew scored the final two points of a back-and-forth set to win the third set, 25-23.

The Rangers secured another tight win in the fourth set to set up the finale.
