The Misericordia University men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw at FDU-Florham, Wednesday afternoon.
 
Drew Weaver had a goal and an assist and Alfred Romano scored for the Cougars while Richard Billings added an assist.
 
The Devils took a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute.
 
Billings squeezed through two defenders in the defensive third and raced 50 yards down the right side before playing a flat pass to Weaver, whose one-timer into the upper left corner from 30 yards tied the match at 59:26.
 
The Cougars took a 2-1 lead on a corner in the 69^th minute.  Weaver's header caromed off the right post and Romano buried the rebound.
 
The Devils tied the game on a penalty kick in the 78^th minute.
 
MU had one last chance on a corner in the 88^th minute, but Anthony Yarabinee's header was stopped.
 
MU held a 10-2 edge in shots on goal.
