The Misericordia University volleyball team swept a tri-match with Keuka at St. John Fisher, Saturday.

The Cougars beat Keuka, 3-0, and Fisher, 3-2, to improve to 16-14.

Cassandra Genduso had 11 kills, five aces and three blocks in the opener had eight kills and two aces.

Jenna Schuda had 27 assists and
Jessica Cleveland had eight digs and two aces.

Sarah Kelly added four blocks.

In the nightcap,
Fiona Pyfer had 13 kills and three blocks and Schuda had 34 assists and four aces.

Kelly had nine kills and four blocks and
Meghan Peters had 11 kills, 19 digs  and three blocks.

The Cougars sandwiched two easy wins, 25-13, 25-14, around a 25-22 win over Keuka.

They dropped the opener to St. John Fisher, 26-24, before winning the next two sets, 25-23, 25-16. Fisher took the fourth set, 25-12, and the Cougars rallied from a 12-10 deficit to win the finale, 15-13.

Pyfer and Kelly started the winning rally with a block and Pyfer followed with a kill to tie the score, 12-12. Schuda's ace gave MU a 13-12 lead and Genduso's kill made it 14-12. Fisher answered with a kill to get within 14-13, but Pyfer closed the match with a kill.

The Cougars will return to MAC Freedom play with their conference finale, Wednesday at Lebanon Valley.
