The Misericordia University women's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 73-39 win at Clarks Summit University, Saturday.
Alyssa Bondi scored 13 points to lead 10 MU players in the scoring column.
Jocelyn Grosch added 12 points and
Gianna Delfino had 11.
The Cougars led 26-17 after one period, but held the Defenders to single digits over the next three quarters.
Grosch scored seven points in the second quarter and Bondi hit two three-pointers as the Cougars took a 41-23 lead at halftime and never looked back.
