The Misericordia University women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, 77-47, Tuesday night at Elizabethtown.
Skylar Bianchi led the Cougars with 17 points and
Alyssa Bondi added 10 points and five assists and
Gianna Delfino had a game-high 14 rebounds.
Bianchi's jumper gave the Cougars a 10-8 lead midway through the first quarter, but the Blue jays rallied to take a 25-17 lead at the end of the period.
A three-pointer from Delfino got MU within 30-26 with 6:51 left in the second quarter, but the Blue Jays rallied to take a 43-30 lead at halftime.
E-Town put the game away with a 20-4 advantage in the fourth quarter.
