Genevieve Montanye had four goals and two assists, including the game-winner in overtime, to lift the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team to a 16-15 win over Marywood, Thursday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Skylar Dowling added four goals and an assist in her collegiate debut and
Michelle Torzilli had three goals and two assists.
Kylee Cush had two goals and an assist.

Rachel Shook had seven draw controls and
Molly Celesky had three groundballs and two draw controls.

The Cougars fell behind 3-1 early, but went on a 4-1 run and took 5-4 lead on Torzilli's free position shot under the crossbar with 9:50 left in the second period.

Misericordia ended the quarter on a 3-1 run, including Montanye's goal inside the left post off a nice pass from Dowling from behind the net to take an 8-6 halftime lead.

Marywood opened the third quarter with six straight goals to take a 12-8 with 8:17 left in the period.

Misericordia answered with six straight goals of its own to go back in front.

Emily Baro placed a shot in top right corner and Dowling bounced a shot inside the left post for her first career goal to get the Cougars within 12-10 with 1:56 left in the third period.

Dowling scored in the upper left corner to open the fourth quarter and Torzilli whipped a shot inside the left post to tie the game.

Dowling drove from the left wing to give the Cougars the lead and Montanye scored inside the left post to make it 14-12 with 8:35 left.

After a Marywood goal, Dowling juked a defender near the left post for an insurance goal and a 15-13 lead with 2:47 to go.

The Pacers scored twice in the final :27 to force OT.
