The Misericordia University baseball team opened its spring break trip with a 15-9, extra-inning win over Baldwin Wallace, Saturday in Port Charlotte, FL.

Connor Maryniak hit a solo homer to the score in the top of the ninth and the Cougars erupted for six runs in the top of the 10
th.

Derrick Vosburg drew a bases-loaded walk to put the Cougars in front in the top of the 10
th and
Brock Bollinger had a two-run single.

Brady Madden hit two homers and drove in four runs and Bollinger had three hits and three RBI, including a solo homer.Â

Matt Lanzendorfer struck out three in 3.1 innings of relief to earn the win.

Madden hit a solo homer to left in the third inning and Bollinger's solo shot was part of a three-run fifth inning that gave MU a 5-1 lead.

The Yellowjackets scored seven runs in the sixth to take a 9-5 lead.

Madden hit a three-run homer in the eighth and Maryniak added a solo shot in the ninth to force extra innings.

Misericordia will play a doubleheader against Wabash, Sunday.
