Box Score 1 The Misericordia University men's volleyball team swept a MAC tri-match with Eastern at Hood, Saturday.
 
The Cougars swept Eastern and earned forfeit over Hood after an injury in the first set left the Blazers without enough healthy players to continue.
 
Anthony DePalma led the Cougars with 15 kills and three blocks against Eastern while Zane Martin and Jackson Fehnel had eight kills each.
 
Gannon DeFrain had 34 assists and Alex Furlong had 15 digs.  Martin added three aces and two blocks.
 
The Cougars beat Eastern, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 and were leading Hood, 9-5, in the first set when play was stopped.
 
MU is 10-16 overall and 2-1 in the MAC and will play a tri-match with Wentworth Institute of Technology at New Jersey City, Friday.
