Susquehanna scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the #15 Misericordia University baseball team, 3-2, Wednesday afternoon in Selinsgrove.
Brady Madden and
Brendan Gray both had two hits for the Cougars and
Joe Comins had a two-run double.
Down 2-0, the Cougars tied it with a pair of runs in the top of the sixth.
Nick Giardino reached on an infield single to open the inning and went to third when
Derrick Vosburg reached on an error. With two outs, Vosburg stole second and both runners came around on Comins' two-run double down the right field line.
The Cougars will open a three-game series with Arcadia, Thursday at 3:30 at Tambur Field.
