The Misericordia University athletics department has announced its 2023 Hall of Fame class.

The 21
st MU HOF class will be inducted Friday, October 6Â and includes Andy Bush '13, Kenny Durling '13, Samantha Helmstetter '12, Marina (Orrson) Martino '13 and Shannon (Tinkham) Kostuk '10.

Bush was a four-time first-team All-MAC Freedom selection in men's soccer. He was the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a senior.

In addition, he was a two-time ECAC all-star and a three-time all-region selection.
Â
He is Misericordia's all-time leader with 48 career goals and 117 career points. He ranks fifth with 21 career assists and his 40 points as a senior is the third-highest single-season total in school history.

Durling was a three-time first-team All-MAC Freedom selection as an outfielder on the baseball team. He was a two-time all-region selection and was a third-team All-American as a senior.

He is Misericordia's career leader with 175 RBI, 405 total bases and 63 doubles. He ranks second with 234 career hits and 30 homers and is third in slugging % (.630) and fifth in batting average (.364).

Helmstetter was a four-time first-team All-MAC Freedom selection and a two-time MAC Freedom Player of the Year in women's soccer. She earned All-America, all-region and All-ECAC status as a senior and was named the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year.

She is Misericordia's all-time leader with 34 career assists and ranks second with 122 career points and is fifth with 44 career goals.

Her 45 points as a senior is the seventh-highest single-season total in school history.

Martino was four-time first-team All-MAC finisher in cross country. She was the MAC runner-up as a junior and finished third as a senior and earned all-region status three times.

She was Misericordia's top finisher in every meet over her last three seasons.

In track & field, she was the MAC runner-up at 800m and 1500m and was an NCAA qualifier at 10,000m.

Kostuk is Misericordia's all-time leader with 176 career goals and ranks third with 202 career points. She was a first-team All-PAC selection and Rookie of the Year as a freshman and made second-team All-PAC as a sophomore.

She owns three of the top-10 single-season goal totals in school history.
