Misericordia University softball standouts Alexa McHugh and Kaitlin Redling have been named to MAC All-Academic team.

Both players were named NFCA all-region and Redling was an NFCA All-American.
 
McHugh was 14-3 with a 1.04 earned run average and 125 strikeouts in 114 innings.
 
Redling led the league with a .784 slugging %, .533 on-base % and 15 doubles.
 
Misericordia finished 27-13 and won the MAC Freedom championship and finished third in the NCAA regional.
 
Student-athletes must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 for the spring semester to be eligible for the
award.  The team was selected by the conference Sports Information Directors.
