The Misericordia University men's and women's soccer teams have been recognized with Team Academic Award status from the United Soccer Coaches for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.

The Cougars were among 181 schools nationwide that had both their men's and women's programs recognized for earning a team GPA of 3.0 or above.

The men's team of head coach Andy Loughnane earned team GPA of 3.54 while head Mark Stauffer's women's squad earned a 3.41 team GPA.
