The Misericordia University volleyball team improved to 3-1 with a sweep at Penn State Harrisburg, Tuesday.
Jenna Schuda had 20 assists, 10 digs and five aces and
Meghan Peters had a team-high nine kills.Â
Adele Decker added five aces and
Jessica Cleveland had four aces.
Fiona Pyfer had eight kills and
Cassandra Genduso had five kills and two blocks.
The Cougars used a 10-1 run to break open a 2-2 tie in the first set and went on to win the opener, 25-13.
After PSU-Harrisburg scored four straight points to get within 20-15 in the second set, the Cougars came out of a timeout and Decker recorded three aces as part of 5-0 run to close a 25-20 win.
Misericordia will travel to Winchester, Va. For the Shenandoah Invitational this weekend.
