The Misericordia University men's basketball team fell to Lebanon Valley College, 86-67, Wednesday night.
Kevin Lazdowsky led MU with 25 points and
Derek Smith had a double-double 10 points and 12 rebounds.
After MU fell behind early, 8-0, the Cougars answered with a 9-1 run to get within 10-9.
Lazdowsky converted a three-point play to give MU its first lead, 14-13, with 14:17 to play in the first half.
The teams went back-and-forth with the score remaining within one basket for much of the first half.
Nate Kreitzer scored a layup with 1:13 to go in the first half to give the Cougars a 42-38 lead, but Dutchmen responded with four straight points to tie the game at 42-42 heading to halftime.
The Cougars scored just four points over the first 10 minutes of the second half and the Dutchmen used a 23-3 run midway through the second half to break open a tied game.
