The Misericordia University men's basketball team lost at D-I Binghamton, 77-48, Saturday.

Matt Prociak led the Cougars with 13 points.

MU opened the game on an 8-2 run, but Binghamton responded with eight straight points to take a 10-8 lead.

Arvel Chandler made two free throws and Eli Stoute made a layup to give MU a 4-0 lead.  After a Binghamton basket, Stoute made a three-pointer and Lazdowsky added a free throw.

Binghamton took the lead for with their 8-0 run and they eventually built a 40-25 halftime lead.
