Matt Prociak had a double-double to lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to a 74-60 season-opening win over Keystone, Friday night on Doc Mould Court.
 
Prociak had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Lazdowsky added 16 points.
 
Eli Stoute added 15 points and eight rebounds and Arvel Chandler had seven points and five assists.
 
Keystone scored the game's first basket for its only lead of the night.  Prociak followed with a tip-in and Stoute put MU in front for good with a three-pointer less than two minutes into the game.
 
Prociak scored MU's next seven points as the Cougars took a quick 12-4 lead.
 
Keystone got within 42-38 just over five minutes into the second half, but the Cougars closed on a 33-22 run over the final 14:31.
 
Prociak had another tip-in to start the run and Lazdowsky scored five straight points to give MU a 59-40 lead with 9:21 to go.
 
Stoute's three-pointer stretched the lead to 68-48 with 4:26 to play.
