Matt Prociak had his second straight double-double to lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to a 67-64 win over Notre Dame (MD), Sunday at Mt. St. Mary's (MD) in the second game of the Seahawks Holiday Classic.

Prociak had 26 points and 13 rebounds and Kevin Lazdowsky added 16 points and eight rebounds.

Jack Gallagher had 10 points and five rebounds and R.J. Weise had seven rebounds.

Lazdowsky made four free throws in the final :33 as the Cougars held off a last-minute rally by the Gators.

Prociak made the second of two free throws to put MU in front for good, 47-46, with 10:43 to play.

Ryan Nasuti followed with a jumper and Lazdowsky drained a three-pointer to make it 52-46 with 7:33 to go.

Prociak put back his own miss and added a three-pointer to give the Cougars 58-49 lead with 3:04 left.

R.J. Weise hit a three-pointer to give the Cougars the biggest lead of the game, 61-51, with 1:49 remaining.

The Gators pulled within 65-64 with :03 to go, but Lazdowsky made a pair of free throws to clinch the win.
