The Misericordia University women's basketball team dropped an exhibition contest at Lehigh, 81-22 Sunday afternoon in Bethlehem.

Ava Cirigliano led the Cougars with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Jocelyn Grosch scored both of her baskets in the first five minutes to give MU an early lead.

Grosch scored on assist by Cirigliano to open the scoring with a layup with 8:08 to play in the first period.

Following two Lehigh buckets, Cirigliano found Samantha Casey in the lane to tie the score 4-4, with 5:24 to go.

Grosch hit a short jumper to put MU back in front, 6-4, with 5:06 left in the first quarter.

Lehigh went on a 15-0 run over the final 4:04 of the period to take a 19-6 lead.

The Mountain Hawks extended their lead to 37-6 at halftime.
