The Stockton women's lacrosse team used a big fourth quarter to break open a close game in a 14-4 win over Misericordia University, Tuesday evening.
The Ospreys scored seven goals in the fourth quarter.
Genevieve Montanye led the Cougars with two goals and an assist.
Stockton led 3-0 before Montanye got MU on the board midway through the second quarter.
The Ospreys scored four straight goals to take a 7-1 lead late in the third period.
Torzilli scored late in the third quarter and
Rachel Shook opened the fourth quarter with a goal. Montanye scored with 10:48 to play to get the Cougars within 8-4, but Stockton scored six goals over the final 10 minutes.
Torzilli led MU with six ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls.
