Joe Valenti and Tyler Leonard combined for 12 strikeouts in a three-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Delaware Valley, Friday afternoon at Tambur Field.

Valenti struck out 10 over 7.2 and Leonard retired the last four batters in order, including two strikeouts.

Connor Maryniak had three hits and Joe Comins drove in three runs while Garrett McIlhenney scored twice.

McIlhenney drew a walk to lead off the bottom of the first and moved up on a sacrifice bunt before coming around to score on Jason Sanfilippo's liner to right center to give MU a 1-0 lead.

After a Del Val pitching change, McIlhenney doubled down the left field line to lead off the fifth.  He stole third and scored when Jack Regenye reached on an error.  Brock Bollinger reached a single and runners ended up at second and third.  One out later, Comins singled to right to make it 3-0.  Comins swiped second and scored on Maryniak's single to center for a 4-0 lead.
