The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team fell to Ithaca, 13-6, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Connor Bevan led the Cougars with two goals and two assists and
Michael Kilgallon III and
Connor Gundersen both had a goal and an assist.
Ithaca took a 4-0 lead less than five minutes into the game before Kilgallon got the Cougars on the board with a shot under the crossbar with 9:59 left in the first period.
Jared Pelliccione whipped a shot from the top of the circle for his 100
th career goal and the Cougars trailed 5-2 after one period.
Gundersen and Bevan scored late in the second period to get the Cougars within 7-4 at halftime.
Brendan Stanley scored MU's lone goal of the third quarter and Bevan added a goal midway through the fourth period.
Trey Stasse had five ground balls and three caused turnovers to lead the Cougars.
