The Misericordia University men's volleyball team will host Messiah in the MAC Semifinals, Thursday at 7:00 in the Anderson Center.

In their third MAC Tournament appearance, the second-seeded Cougars are hosting a MAC postseason game for the first time. Misericordia swept Messiah during the regular season, 25-23, 25-22, 29-27, for their first-ever win over the Falcons.

Misericordia 22-10 overall and 7-1 in the MAC and set a school record for wins during the regular season.

Messiah is 16-9 overall and is seeded third after finishing 6-2 in the MAC.

Top-seeded Stevens will host fifth-seeded Arcadia in Thursday's other semifinal with the winners meeting for the MAC championship, Saturday.

Jared Piontkowski leads the MAC and ranks sixth in the nation with 4.56 kills per set while
Anthony DePalma is seventh in the MAC at 3.09. Piontkowski is third in the league with .52 aces per set and DePalma is 10
th at .34.

Gannon DeFrain is second in the league and 12
th in the nation with 9.76 assists per set and
Benjamin Clendening is second in the MAC and 12
th in the country with 1.04 blocks per set while Piontkowski is eighth in the league with .80.

Zane Martin is second the league in hitting percentage at .417 while Piontkowski is ninth at .320.

Alex Furlong is 10
th in the league with 1.74 digs per set.

Messiah's Ryan Givens is 10
th in the league with 3.09 kills per set while Jacob Hamm is 10
th with 2.83.

Givens is sixth in the league with .86 blocks per set.

Seth Graybill is second in the league with 2.23 digs per set and Conner Stauffer is sixth with 1.85.
