The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team jumped out to a quick 9-2 lead and never looked back in a 21-6 win over Delaware Valley, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Genevieve Montanye led the Cougars with four goals and three assists and
Michelle Torzilli added six goals.
Rachel Shook had four goals and 12 draw controls and
Skylar Dowling had a goal and four assists.
Delaney Campanella scored three goals while
Alicia Pileggi had two goals and an assist and
Melanie Carbo added three assists.
Natalie McKinney made four saves in goal.
Torzilli and Shook combined for three goals in the first three minutes to give MU a 3-0 lead. After an Aggie goal, the Cougars scored five goals in a seven-minute span to take an 8-1 lead.
Torzilli and Montanye both scored twice as part of a 6-0 run in the second as the Cougars pulled away.
