The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team used a 9-1 run over the second and third quarters to win at Arcadia, 13-10, Saturday.
 
Michelle Torzilli had three goals and two assists and Skylar Dowling had two goals and two assists.
 
Rachel Shook scored three goals and had 15 draw controls.
 
Melanie Carbo added two goals and Natalie McKinney made nine saves in goal.
 
Shook opened the scoring two minutes into the game and added a goal with 1:34 left in the first quarter as the teams battled to a 4-4 draw after one period.
 
The Cougars went ahead for good as Molly Celesky and Torzilli scored a little over a minute apart early in the second quarter.
 
After an Arcadia goal, MU scored three straight to end the second period and take a 9-5 halftime lead.
 
The Cougars scored three consecutive goals to open the third quarter and stretch their lead to 12-5.
 
Arcadia scored late in the third period and Jordyn Jarrett with an unassisted goal with 1:15 left to make it 13-6 heading to the fourth quarter.
