The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-8 decision to Arcadia, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

Connor Bevan led the Cougars with four goals and an assist and
Jared Pelliccione had a goal and two assists.

Trey Stasse had seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Arcadia took a 4-0 lead late into the first quarter before
Connor Gundersen got the Cougars on the board with a back handed shot inside the left post with 5:35 left in the period.

Gundersen found Bevan for a man-up goal early in the second quarter and Bevan connected with Pelliccione goal less than three minutes later to pull the Cougars within 5-3.

Pelliccione returned the favor with a pass to Bevan on the left wing that led to a goal in the top right corner to get within 5-4 with 10:01 left in the second quarter.

Arcadia answered with four straight goals to take a 9-4 lead with 7:08 to go in the first half.

Aiden D'Ambrosio scooped up a loose ball in front of the net and scored and Bevan scored into an open net off a long pass from goalie
Chris Dindino with 3:25 to play.

Arcadia scored late in the second quarter and scored the only three goals of the third period to take a 13-6 lead.

Brendan Stanley and Bevan added fourth-quarter goals for the Cougars.
