Despite nine points from
Skylar Dowling, the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team fell at Lebanon Valley, 18-10, Wednesday night.
Dowling had three goals and six assists and
Michelle Torzilli added three goals and six draw controls.
Rachel Shook added two goals, an assist and 10 draw controls.
The Dutchmen scored five straight goals to open the game and led 6-1 after one period.
Torzilli scored late in the third quarter and
Melanie Carbo scored early in the third to start a 6-2.
Dowling, Torzilli and Shook scored three straight goals to pull within 15-9 midway through the fourth quarter.
Dowling added an unassisted goal to make it 16-10 with 6:11 to play, but LVC scored twice in the final five minutes.
