Michelle Torzilli scored six goals to become Misericordia University's all-time leading scorer while leading the MU women's lacrosse team to a 16-4 win over King's, Saturday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Alicia Pileggi had three goals and an assist and
Genevieve Montanye and
Rachel Shook both added two goals and an assist.
The Cougars raced out to a 12-0 lead early in the second quarter and were never threatened.
Torzilli cut across the middle of the lane and took a feed from Montanye to score her third goal of the game midway through the first quarter to give MU a 7-0 lead surpass Kayla Quinlivan as MU's all-time leading scorer with 257 career points.
Torzilli and Shook had a team-high seven draw controls.
