The Misericordia University baseball took both ends of a doubleheader at DeSales to finish off a sweep of the Bulldogs, 15-1, 22-10.
Brock Bollinger,
Connor Maryniak and
Jason Sanfilippo all had two hits and two RBI in the opener.
Steve Rinda worked six innings to earn the win.
Maryniak homered twice and drove in in eight runs in the nightcap and
Joe Comins homered and drove in three runs.
Maryniak struck out 10 over six innings to get the win.
The Cougars scored six times in the top of the second inning to take control of the opener.
Jeff Policarpio doubled in two runs Bollinger doubled with the bases later to make it 5-0 in the top of the second. Maryniak singled down the left field line to stretch the lead to 7-0.
Adam Regan had a two-run double and
Michael Flax and
Brian Korchok drove in runs as part of a four-run seventh inning to put the game away.
Maryniak was a one-man wrecking crew in the nightcap.
He allowed just one earned run over six innings and helped his own cause with four hits, including two homers.

Garrett McIlhenney drew a lead-off walk and Jac Regenye was hit by a pitch and
Brock Bollinger singled to load the bases. Maryniak cleared the bases with a homer to center field to give MU a 5-0 lead. McIlhenney singled in two runs in his second at bat of the frame to make it 8-0.
Maryniak singled in a run in the fifth and Comins followed with a two-run homer to put MU up 13-4 in the fifth.
Maryniak blasted a three-run homer in the sixth and
Gabe Bunn added an RBI-double to stretch the lead to 17-4.
