The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team used a big second half to defeat King's, 21-9, Saturday.

Connor Bevan led the Cougars with eight points on four goals and four assists, including his 100^th career goal.  Jared Pelliccione added seven goals and Brendan Stanley and Jason Giambrone both had a goal and two assists.

Trey Stasse had three ground balls and five caused turnovers and Chris Dindino made 18 saves in goal.

Bevan gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead with his 100^th career goal less than minutes into the game.

The Cougars scored four goals in the final 6:48 of the first quarter to take the lead for good, 5-2.

MU scored three times at the end of the second quarter to take an 8-4 lead into halftime and opened the second half with four straight goals for a 12-4 lead.

Pelliccione scored three straight goals as part of a 5-0 run to give MU a 17-5 lead early in the fourth period.
