The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team dropped a tough 10-6 decision to DeSales, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Connor Bevan scored three goals and
Jared Pelliccione had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars.
Trey Stasse had four ground balls and
Chris Dindino had 15 saves and five ground balls.
Pelliccione's pass through the crease found
Brendan Stanley who bounced a shot inside the left post for a 1-0 led less than one minute into the game.
DeSales tied it midway through the first period and Bevan pump-faked and fired a shot inside the left post to answer with 4:53 to go.
Bevan's low shot from the top right side of the circle gave the Cougars a 3-2 lead early in the second period.
He bounced a shot across the crease for a 4-3 lead early in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs scored twice in the second quarter to a 5-4 halftime lead.
DeSales outscored MU 3-1 in the third quarter to increase their lead to 8-5.
