The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team clinched a MAC Freedom Tournament berth with an 18-12 win at DeSales, Wednesday night.

Skylar Dowling, Michelle Torzilli and Rachel Shook combined for 21 points and Alicia Pileggi scored four goals.

Dowling had a goal and seven assists and Torzilli had six goals and an assist while Shook added five goals and an assist.

Shook had six draw controls and Torzilli had five.

Natalie McKinney made eight saves in goal.

The Cougars doubled up DeSales throughout the first period and led 8-4 after one quarter.

Shook scored twice as part of a 4-0 run over the final 2:17 of the first half to give the Cougars a 14-7 lead at halftime.

Pileggi scored with :09 left in the third quarter to give the Cougars their biggest lead of the night, 17-9.
