Brianna Pizzano, Alexandra Snyder, Connor Bevan and Joe Valenti have been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Athletes of the Month for April.
 
Pizzano led the women's tennis team to a 6-1 record during the month and a second-place finish during the regular season in the MAC Freedom.
 
She was 7-0 at first singles and 3-2 and first doubles.
 
Snyder had the top throw in the javelin in the MAC and the 11th-best throw in the nation.  She won the Misericordia University Invitational and the Misericordia Twilight meets.
 
Bevan led the men's lacrosse team to a 4-3 record and berth in the MAC Freedom tournament.  He led the team in scoring with 28 points on 17 goals and 11 assists and was second on the team with 17 ground balls.

Valenti led the baseball team to a 15-2 record during the month and the top seed in the MAC Freedom championships.
 
He was 3-1 with a 1.95 earned run average.
